If FragPunk refuses to connect and you're stuck at the network error screen, don’t panic. There are a few things you can try to get back in the fight.

1. Fix When You’re Using an Eero Router

  • Open your Eero app and go to Security & Privacy > Network Controls

  • Turn off "Advanced Security"

  • Keep it off while playing, or you’ll get disconnected.

  • ***You can also try plugging directly into your modem.

2. Disable Any VPNs or Network Tools

  • If you’re using a VPN, Hamachi, or Radmin, turn them off

  • Some of these create virtual network adapters that interfere with your connection

3. Allow FragPunk Through Windows Firewall

You need to add FragPunk to both Inbound and Outbound firewall rules:

  1. Open Windows Security and go to Firewall & network protection

  2. Click Advanced settings

  3. Select Inbound Rules, then New Rule

  4. Choose Program, then Browse to find FragPunk.exe (wherever your game is installed)

  5. Set it to Allow the connection and click Next until you can save

  6. Repeat for Outbound Rules

4. Check Your Antivirus

  • Some antivirus programs (McAfee, Norton, etc.) block network traffic for certain games

  • Try temporarily disabling your antivirus and firewall

  • If the game works, add an exception for FragPunk and turn security back on

5. Other Possible Fixes

  • If you don’t want to disable Advanced Security on your router, try using Cloudflare WARP instead

  • Make sure Windows, GPU drivers, and your router firmware are all updated

  • Check out FragPunk’s official support page for more troubleshooting

Final Thoughts

Most of the time, connection issues come down to router settings, VPN conflicts, or firewall rules. Try these fixes, and hopefully, you'll be back to fragging in no time.
