How to Unlock Sparrow in Apex Legends Guide

Season 25 brought Sparrow, a double-jumping, dart-firing Recon Legend. If you’re ready to play as him but can’t figure out how to unlock him... here’s how.

All Ways to Unlock Sparrow

There are three methods to unlock Sparrow:

1. Legend Tokens

• Go to the Legends menu.

• Select Sparrow.

• Press the purchase button (usually H on PC).

• Spend Legend Tokens (free currency earned by leveling up).
  This is the cheapest way if you’ve saved enough tokens.

2. Apex Coins

• Same steps as above.

• Spend Apex Coins (premium currency bought with real money).
  Not recommended unless you’re in a hurry.

3. Prodigy Launch Challenges (Free Unlock)

• Open the Challenges tab.

• Find Prodigy Launch Challenges – Part 1.

• Complete all Weapon and Legend challenges listed there.

Prodigy Launch Challenges List

Weapon Challenges:

• Deal 1,000 damage with the Bocek.

• Deal 1,000 damage with the G7 Scout.

• Deal 1,000 damage with any marksman weapon.

Legend Challenges:

• Scan 40 enemies with Sparrow’s Tracker Dart.

• Grapple 4,000 meters with Pathfinder.

• Deal 1,000 damage with Sparrow’s Stinger Bolt or have 250 teammates use Pathfinder’s Zipline.

• Get 30 kills or assists.

• Deal 25,000 damage with Sparrow or Pathfinder.

Final Blurb

Sparrow can be unlocked with tokens, coins, or for free by grinding out challenges. If you don’t want to pay, grab a marksman rifle and start working through the Prodigy list... because nothing says "Recon Legend" like endless Bocek damage.
