Life in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is rough, and so is your wardrobe. Between rolling in dirt, dodging arrows, and looting questionable corpses, your clothes will get filthy fast. If you don’t clean up, people will treat you like a beggar or worse, a bandit—not great if you’re trying to make a good impression.

Luckily, there are two ways to keep your clothes looking fresh:

  1. Pay for a wash at a Bathhouse

  2. Do it yourself with Soap

How to Wash Clothes at a Bathhouse

The easiest but most expensive option is heading to a Bathhouse. A visit here cleans your clothes, removes blood and dirt from your body, restores health, and, if you're feeling fancy, lets you enjoy some off-screen "relaxation" with a bathmaid.

Where to Find Bathhouses

Each major region has one Bathhouse:

  • Trosky Bathhouse – Near Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn, northwest of Zhelejov.

  • Kuttenberg Bathhouse – Near Devil’s Den, on the river north of Horschan.

To get a wash, talk to the owner (Dorothy in Trosky) and pay a small fee. If you're broke, you might want to consider the DIY method.

How to Wash Clothes Using Soap

If you’d rather save money and clean your clothes for free, you can do it yourself using Soap and a Laundry Spot.

Where to Find Laundry Spots

These rare washing areas are found near rivers and water sources.

  • One next to Trosky Bathhouse

  • Another east of the main road leading south from Lower Semine Mill

Once discovered, they’ll appear on your map with a trough icon.

How to Use a Laundry Spot

  1. Go to a Laundry Spot and hover over the water.

  2. Select “Launder Clothes.”

  3. Choose the clothes you want to clean.

  4. Confirm, and your clothes are instantly fresh!

The only catch? You need Soap.

How to Get Soap

Soap is cheap, easy to find, and you can even craft it yourself.

Ways to Get Soap:

  • Buy it – Sold by many merchants, usually for a low price.

  • Steal it – Found in the top floor of the Trosky Bathhouse (if you’re feeling sneaky).

  • Make it Yourself – If you don’t want to spend or steal, you can brew Soap at an Alchemy Bench.

How to Craft Soap

You don’t need the recipe to craft Soap—you can just follow these steps:

Ingredients:

  • 2x Thistle

  • 1x Dandelion

  • 1x Charcoal

  • Oil (because soap without oil is just… dirtier dirt)

Brewing Process:

  1. Add Oil to the cauldron.

  2. Grind the Thistle and add it.

  3. Boil for 2 turns.

  4. Add the Dandelion and boil for 1 turn.

  5. Grind the Charcoal and add it.

  6. Pour into a container.

Once you craft Soap for the first time, the recipe will be permanently added to your Alchemy book.

Final Blurb

  • Bathhouses cost money, but they’re the easiest option.

  • Laundry Spots are free, but you need Soap.

  • Keeping clean makes people take you more seriously—so unless you enjoy being treated like a filthy vagrant, wash up now and then.

Now go scrub those bloodstains out before someone asks awkward questions.
