Will KCD2 Be On Nintendo Switch?

Let’s not sugarcoat it. If you were hoping to sneak around medieval Bohemia on your Nintendo Switch, you might want to sit down. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not coming to Switch, and there’s zero sign that will change.

Why Not the Switch?

KCD2 is shaping up to be a massive open-world RPG, full of detailed cities, dense forests, and realistic sword-fighting. It’s also being built for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S — all systems that can handle big, demanding games.

The Nintendo Switch, on the other hand, is... not exactly built for that. It’s great for Mario Kart and Stardew Valley. But KCD2’s size, graphics, and mechanics would likely turn the poor little Switch into a toaster.

What About the First Game?

Even the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance never made it to Switch. There was a rumor about a port years ago, but it never happened, probably for the same reasons.

Final Blurb

So if you want to play KCD2, you’ll need to use a more powerful system — PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S. The Switch just isn’t up for the task. Henry’s medieval adventures are staying off the handheld for now... and forever.
