How Aging Works in inZOI: Life Stages
There are nine total life stages in the game:
Newborn
Toddler
Child
Adolescent
Teenager
Young Adult
Adult
Middle-Aged
Senior
Some of these (like Newborn and Toddler) can’t be chosen in character creation—they only happen if your Zoi has a baby. Same goes for Adolescents. You’ll see them grow into these stages naturally as you play.
By default, 1 in-game day = 96 real-world minutes. So unless you’re playing nonstop, aging feels pretty realistic. Your Zoi will live about 100 in-game days, which translates to over 2 full real-life days of actual playtime before they pass away.
Can You Speed It Up?
Yes—but not directly with a magic button or cake. If you want to age up your Zoi faster, you can do it in a roundabout way:
Go into your settings
Look for Time Settings
You can shorten the length of in-game days to make time pass faster
There’s no official “Age Up” button like in other life sims (yet), so for now, it’s all about tweaking your game speed or just waiting it out.
Final Blurb
Aging up in inZOI is a slow burn, but that’s kind of the point—it’s a life sim, not a fast-forward button. You can speed things up by adjusting the time settings, but otherwise, just keep playing and let your Zoi live their best (and slowly aging) life.
