Is Blue Prince Co-Op or Multiplayer?

At first glance, Blue Prince might seem like the perfect game to tackle with a friend. It’s full of riddles, branching paths, and “what just happened” moments that beg for a second opinion. You’d think it would lend itself well to a co-op setup—one player on the controls, the other buried in notes, pointing dramatically at clues like they’re solving a murder mystery.
But no, sadly Blue Prince is not a co-op game.
It’s designed entirely for single-player. There’s no local co-op, no online multiplayer, and no ability to explore the mansion with a partner. Just you, your increasingly chaotic floorplan, and whatever weird object you just found in a trunk.
Can you still play it with a friend?
Kind of. While the game doesn’t support multiple players, it does make for a great backseat experience. Solving puzzles together, swapping theories, and shouting at the screen when you pick the wrong box in the Parlor—those moments are still very real. It’s just not built into the mechanics of the game itself.
Final Blurb
If you’re hoping for a puzzle game to play with someone, you’ll have to improvise. Blue Prince locks the doors behind you, hands you a weird key, and leaves you to figure it out alone. But hey, misery loves company—especially if your friend is fine just watching and yelling “check the drawer again!” every five minutes.
