If you're wondering whether you can play Mecha BREAK with friends on different platforms, the short answer is: Yes, but only on certain platforms. Read below for more information.

Does Mecha BREAK Have Crossplay?

Yes, Mecha BREAK supports crossplay between PC (Steam and Windows Store) and Xbox Series X|S. This means players on these platforms can team up or battle against each other in the same matches.

However, PlayStation 5 players are left out for now. The game is set to launch on PS5 later in 2025, and there's no confirmation yet on whether crossplay will include PlayStation at that time.

How Does Crossplay Work?

  • Automatic Matching: If you're on PC or Xbox, you’ll be in the same matchmaking pool.

  • No Extra Setup Needed: Crossplay is enabled by default, so you don’t have to tweak any settings.

  • Play With Friends Easily: You can form squads across platforms as long as you're on PC or Xbox.

Does Mecha BREAK Have Cross-Save?

Yes! Your progress, unlocks, and customizations will carry over between PC and Xbox. So if you start on PC and later switch to an Xbox console, you won’t lose anything.

What About PlayStation 5?

For now, PS5 players have to wait until the game launches on their platform later in the year. Whether they’ll get crossplay with PC and Xbox is still unknown.

Final Blurb

If you’re on PC or Xbox, you’re good to go with crossplay in Mecha BREAK. Just squad up and start blasting. PlayStation folks? You’ll have to be patient.
