Demonic Pacts are one of the biggest power systems in OSRS Leagues 6, and once you start building into a path, it feels permanent. The game does not surface reset options clearly, so a lot of players assume they are locked in for the entire league. Below I’ve broken down how pact resets work to help you on your Leagues 6 journey.
How Pact Resets Work in OSRS Leagues 6
You can reset your Demonic Pacts in OSRS Leagues 6 by defeating Echo Bosses, with up to 3 total resets unlocked after killing your first 3 unique Echo Bosses.
Pact resets are not available from a menu, and you cannot manually respec whenever you want. Instead, resets are tied directly to progression through Echo Boss fights.
The first time you defeat an Echo Boss, you unlock your first reset. The second and third unique Echo Boss kills each unlock another reset, giving you a total of 3 resets for the entire league .
Once you use a reset, all your Pact points are refunded and you can rebuild your entire tree from scratch.
Do You Lose Progress When Resetting Pacts
Resetting your Demonic Pacts does not remove your progress or unlocks. Thankfully, I found out that you actually keep just about everything:
all your gear
all your regions
all your relics
all your completed tasks
The only thing that changes is your Pact tree. All points are refunded and you can rebuild from scratch.
Where to Reset Your Pacts
After unlocking a reset, the option becomes available directly in the Demonic Pacts interface.
Open your Leagues interface, go to the Demonic Pacts tree, and you will see the reset option available once you have earned one. From there, you can fully respec your build instantly.
There is no cost to resetting beyond consuming one of your available resets.
When You Should Reset Pacts
Resets are limited, so using them at the right time matters more than it seems.
Early on, your Pact choices are based on limited points and gear. As you unlock more regions, relics, and weapons, your build priorities change. That is usually the best time to reset.
For example, switching from a general early build into a focused Magic, Melee, or Ranged setup once your gear supports it is where resets get the most value.
