To add friends in Rematch, open the Social tab from the main menu and invite players directly into your party.
You can only play with people on the same platform, so make sure you're not mixing Steam, Game Pass, PlayStation, or Xbox.
How to Add Friends in Rematch
Open the Social Tab
From the main menu, go to the upper right corner and click the Social icon. This opens your friends list.
Invite Friends to Your Party
Click one of the empty slots and pick a friend from your list. You can invite players already added or ones you’ve recently matched with. Once they accept, you’ll all be in a party and ready to queue together.
How to Play Private Matches With Friends
Start a Custom Game
From the main menu, select “Custom Game.” You can host a new match or join one using a game code.
Adjust the Settings
Choose your team sizes, spectator count, and whether or not the match requires a code. The code makes sure only invited friends can join.
Share the Code
If you set a join code, give it to your friends so they can join your match directly.
You can also mess around in Freeplay while waiting for others to join the custom lobby.
