R.E.P.O. has a few chat commands that let you tweak your experience while playing. These don’t give gameplay advantages, but they’re useful for taking clean screenshots or setting up visuals for content creation.

How to Use Chat Commands in R.E.P.O.

To activate a command, follow these steps:

  1. Press “T” to open the chat.

  2. Type “/” followed by the command you want to use.

  3. Press Enter, and the effect will take place.

  4. To remove the effect, type the command again or restart the game.

These commands only work in multiplayer games, so you won’t be able to use them in solo play.

Available Chat Commands

The /cinematic command removes the game’s UI, giving you a clean screen. This is perfect for taking screenshots or setting up a thumbnail for a video without any distractions.

The /greenscreen command places a large green screen in front of your character. You can move around to adjust the positioning, making it useful for overlays or video editing.

At the moment, these are the only known commands, but the developers may add more in future updates.

Final Blurb

These chat commands won’t affect gameplay, but they’re great for players who want to capture better visuals in R.E.P.O. Whether you’re removing the UI for a cleaner look or setting up a green screen for editing, these simple tools help you customize your experience… At least a little bit.
