The Land Plot Title in ROB RUN is required to rent property in certain settlements, but buying one doesn't automatically give you somewhere to build. Before spending your money, you'll need to understand where the document comes from and which settlements actually accept it.

How to Get Land Plot Title in ROB RUN
To get the Land Plot Title in ROB RUN, you need to unlock it through the Shipments system and purchase it from the Black Market. The Uncommon Land Plot Title has a base price of $100,000 and allows you to rent a plot inside an owned settlement in a level 1 district.
Here's what you need to do:
- Open the Shipments menu using H and check the unlock requirements for the Land Plot Title.
- Complete the necessary Shipment progression to make the document available.
- Access the Black Market through Lenny's services or your base's Black Market laptop.
- Find the Uncommon Land Plot Title and purchase it for its listed price.
- Take the document to a suitable settlement where you want to rent land.
The Land Plot Title occupies a 2x2 space in your inventory, so make sure you have enough room before purchasing it.
There's also an important distinction between buying the document and obtaining the actual property. The title grants access to renting, but you'll still need to find a settlement that meets its requirements.
How to Use the Land Plot Title in ROB RUN
Once you have the Land Plot Title, locate a player-owned settlement in a level 1 district. Find an available rental plot and interact with its rental sign to begin the process of renting land.
The settlement must already have an owner. You cannot use the Land Plot Title to claim an unowned settlement or purchase an entire district for yourself.
I recommend checking the settlement before purchasing the document, particularly if you're planning to build in a specific location. Owning the correct title won't help if there isn't an eligible rental plot available where you want to settle.
After securing your rental, you can begin developing the property and accessing the additional items associated with the plot. This makes the Land Plot Title useful for players who want a base without taking responsibility for owning an entire settlement.
Why Can't You Rent Land With a Land Plot Title?
If you have a Land Plot Title but cannot rent property, check the settlement rather than immediately buying another document. The Uncommon version specifically applies to level 1 districts and requires an existing settlement owner.
The most important things to check are:
- The settlement is in a level 1 district.
- Another player already owns the settlement.
- There is an available plot to rent.
- You have the correct Land Plot Title rather than a different property document.
Land Plot Title vs. Settlement Title
ROB RUN has two similarly named documents that serve different purposes. The Land Plot Title is for renting property from an existing settlement owner, while the Settlement Title is used to purchase a settlement in an eligible district.
The Uncommon Land Plot Title costs $100,000 at base, compared with $200,000 for the Uncommon Settlement Title. Settlement ownership also introduces additional benefits, including the ability to rent plots to other players and collect taxes. If you're interested in owning property rather than renting, our ROB RUN How to Use Settlement Title guide explains how that process works.
If your goal is simply to establish a base, the Land Plot Title is the more straightforward option. However, the document's estimated resale value is only around $40,000, meaning selling it after an unnecessary purchase could leave you with a substantial loss.
I'd avoid buying one until you've found a suitable settlement and have enough money left to make use of the property. The Land Plot Title opens the door to renting land, but securing the right location is what makes the purchase worthwhile.
