Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.

If you’ve been hooked on the Schedule I demo (join the club), you might be wondering: Will your demo save carry over into the full release? After all, if you’ve been grinding hard—farming resources, unlocking areas, perfecting your lab setup—it’d be nice not to lose it all on day one.

Let’s rip the Band-Aid off…

Will Your Demo Save Transfer?

Nope. Unfortunately, your demo save will not carry over to the full release of Schedule I.

According to the devs, the prologue and intro have been changed for the final version of the game, which means your demo progress won’t be compatible. It’s a clean slate on launch day.

Why Doesn’t It Carry Over?

The early game in the full version has been reworked. That means:

  • New cutscenes or tutorials

  • Updated story pacing

  • Possible changes to the game systems or map layout

Basically, they didn’t want returning players to miss out—or break things—by skipping over the newly updated beginning.

What You Can Do Now

  • Keep playing the demo if you’re just enjoying the loop

  • Use the time to experiment with builds or strategies so you're ready for launch

  • Emotionally prepare to say goodbye to your perfectly organized basement lab

Final Blurb

It stings, yeah—but starting fresh in Schedule I might not be the worst thing. New intro, better pacing, and probably more story content means your next grind will be even more rewarding. Just try not to get too attached to your demo setup. We’re all losing ours too.
