Schedule 1: How to Use the Management Clipboard

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.

Once you start hiring employees in Schedule 1, things get real. You’ve got workers, wages, workstations, and trash everywhere. That’s where the management clipboard comes in. It’s your portable command center, and yes—it makes you feel slightly like a criminal HR rep.

How to Open the Clipboard

Stand near an employee and press 9 on your keyboard. This opens your clipboard view. While looking at the worker, press E to bring up their management menu.

What You Can Do With It

1. Assign Them a Bed
This is step one. Every worker needs a bed or they won’t function. Click the bed icon and then click where you want them to sleep. Simple.

You’ll also see a briefcase at the foot of the bed. This is where you pay them. Drop in a stack of cash to cover their daily wage (the game will show you how much they cost per day). If they don’t get paid, they don’t work.

2. Assign Their Task
Next, use the clipboard to assign their job. Depending on the employee type, you’ll see different options:

  • Cleaners: Assign nearby trash cans. Anything in the green radius will get cleaned up automatically.

  • Botanists: Assign grow pots and a shelf with seeds and soil. You can also set where they drop off the harvested product.

  • Handlers: Assign packaging stations and routing instructions (what shelf they pull product from, and where to put packaged stuff).

  • Chemists: Assign chemistry stations and ovens. Also set where the finished product should go. Don’t forget to choose a recipe—they won’t guess.

3. Set Routes or Supplies
Many jobs also require setting up routes or supply locations. This tells the employee where to grab materials from and where to move finished goods. Just click the pencil icon next to their assignment, then click on a rack or station.

Final Blurb

The clipboard in Schedule 1 is your key to keeping things running without lifting a finger. Once you figure out how to assign beds, jobs, and pay, you’ll wonder why you ever packed jars by hand. Just don’t forget to check in now and then—your workers don’t like being unpaid, and neither does your empire.
