To wash your clothes in SCUM, place the item near a water source, hold F on it, and choose the Wash option. You must have soap in your inventory or in your hand for this to work.
Not all water spots will work. You need to be next to a river, lake, or similar clean water source. The ocean won’t count. Once the item is on the ground next to the water, stand close to it, hold F, and select Wash from the menu that pops up.
