Silence Suzuka Build Guide | Uma Musume Pretty Derby
Written by Priya Kapoor
In Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Silence Suzuka is a Runner built for Mile and Medium Turf races. If she wins in story mode but fails in team races, the problem is usually your build. This guide fixes that with updated stat goals and proper support balance.
Best Stats for Silence Suzuka
Speed
She gets a 20% Speed bonus. Aim for 1200+ up to 1400 Speed by the end of your run.
Stamina
If using Great Escape, go for 1000+ Stamina and a gold recovery skill. If not, 700+ Stamina and one gold recovery is usually enough for Mile tracks.
Power
Keep Power around 500 to 800. It helps with acceleration and corners but isn’t a core stat.
Wit
You’ll want at least 350+ Wit to help with pacing and skill activation.
Guts
Suzuka also has a 10% Guts bonus. Try to hit 800+ up to 1100 Guts, or even up to 1200 if you're running lower Stamina.
Best Support Cards
2 Speed Cards
Use cards with strong bond gains and Runner-focused skills.
2 Guts Cards
Guts boosts your final stretch and helps prevent stamina crashes. Guts Haru Urara is one of the best F2P options.
1 Wit or Stamina Card
Use Wit for better skill timing, or Stamina if you're running Great Escape or going into Medium-distance races.
1 Friend Card
Use Ryoga if you’re in the UAF scenario. He’s required for full stat scaling.
Race Type and Tactic
Distance
She works best on Mile and Medium tracks.
Track
Stick to Turf only.
Tactic
She’s a Runner. Do not build her as a Chaser or Betweener. Runner-exclusive skills matter.
Skill Priorities
Gold stamina recovery (especially with Great Escape)
Mid-race and final-stretch speed boosts
Runner-only acceleration skills
Avoid Back skills or anything requiring a trailing position
Training Tips
Build Speed and bond early. Once supports hit friendship, rotate between Guts, Speed, and either Stamina or Wit depending on your setup.
Use Recreation instead of Rest when morale is low.
Run extra races in the late game to grab enough Skill Points for gold skills.
Final Blurb
Silence Suzuka works best with balance. Speed alone won’t carry her. She needs enough Stamina or Guts to keep going, plus smart skill usage and proper pacing.
If you follow the setup above, she’ll stop burning out and start finishing strong.
TL;DR
Train 1200–1400 Speed, 800–1100 Guts, 700–1000+ Stamina, 500–800 Power, and 350+ Wit
Use 2 Speed, 2 Guts, 1 Wit or Stamina, and 1 Friend (Ryoga)
Don’t stack 4 or 5 Speed cards, it leaves you weak in key stats
Great Escape needs 1000+ Stamina and a gold recovery skill
Scenario mode gives hidden stat buffs, team races do not
Free-to-play cards like Guts Haru Urara and Wisdom Mihono Bourbon still perform well
Focus on Runner-only speed and recovery skills and avoid any that require trailing
