Slay The Spire 2 Local Multiplayer: Is There Couch Co Op
Slay The Spire 2 does not support local multiplayer or couch co op. The multiplayer mode is online only in the current Early Access build.
You cannot play split screen or share the same PC natively.
Is Slay The Spire 2 Local Co Op
No.
At launch, Slay The Spire 2 supports online co op for up to 4 players, but there is no built in couch co op mode.
There is no:
Split screen
Same screen shared controller support
Pass and play co op mode
Multiplayer requires separate players connected online.
Why There Is No Couch Co Op
The current co op system is designed around simultaneous turns and real time coordination.
All players act at the same time. Hands update dynamically. Card order and sequencing matter across teammates.
Trying to display 2 to 4 hands on one screen would crowd the interface and remove depth from the decision making.
Because of that structure, local co op was not implemented for Early Access.
Can You Play Local With Workarounds
There is no official local mode.
Some players may attempt:
Remote streaming solutions
Steam Remote Play style setups
Casting a screen and playing online together
But these are not true local multiplayer modes built into the game.
Each player still needs their own connection and session.
Could Local Multiplayer Be Added Later
Nothing is confirmed.
Developers have indicated that couch co op was not a primary focus. Future updates could change that, but it is not part of the current roadmap.
