Split Fiction Bird Puzzle Guide

During one of Zoe’s early fantasy levels in Split Fiction, you’ll find a group of baby birds in nests. One of them is stuck in an unhatched egg, and your job is to help it hatch while clearing the bramble blocking your path. Here’s a quick walkthrough of the bird puzzle.

Step 1: Lower the Log

  • Mio (Gorilla Form): Climb onto the small plateau to the right of the birds.

  • Jump up and grab the pink flowers on the underside of a hanging log.

  • Move across to the connecting log to lower it into position.

Step 2: Move the Egg to the Launching Platform

  • Pick up the unhatched egg and place it in the nest on the seesaw-style launching platform near the bramble.

Step 3: Set Up the Launch

  • Zoe (Tree Form): Connect to the flower on the wall near the baby birds.

  • From there, attach to the log Mio lowered earlier and pull it back as far as possible.

Step 4: Break the Egg and Clear the Bramble

  • Mio (Gorilla Form): Stand on the opposite side of the launching platform from the egg.

  • Ground pound to launch the egg upwards.

  • Zoe: The moment the egg is airborne, release the log so it swings forward.

If done correctly, the log will smash the egg into the bramble, clearing your path and freeing the baby bird to reunite with its family.

Final Blurb

This puzzle is simple, but timing is key. Get the launch right, and you’ll be on your way. Mess it up, and, well… you’ll just have to try again.
