How to Switch Sides on Screen in Split Fiction

So, you’re playing Split Fiction with your co-op partner (or by yourself), all cozy with your own setups—she’s on the left, you’re on the right—and suddenly, chaos. Your character is on the left side of the screen, but you’re physically sitting on the right. The brain confusion is real.
Naturally, you want to flip the screen sides to match real life. Logical request. Too bad Split Fiction says “no.”
Can You Switch Sides?
Nope. At least, not yet.
When you pick your characters before starting the game, you’re also locking in screen sides.
Example: Pick Zoe, and you’re on the right. Pick Mio, you’re on the left. That’s it. Forever.
There’s no option to swap screen sides in settings. No button combo. No secret cheat code. Developers apparently assumed players are okay with brain gymnastics.
Why Not Just Switch Seats?
Well, yes. You could swap physical seats, but maybe you’re pinned to a wall, or your fiancé refuses to move from her perfect gaming throne. We get it. Comfort matters.
Will They Add a Swap Option Later?
Unknown. People are asking for it (loudly), but so far, no word from the devs. If they’re listening, maybe we’ll get a fix. Until then, it’s musical chairs or mental recalibration.
Final Blurb
Split Fiction is a great co-op experience—except for the part where your eyes and brain betray you because the screen sides don’t match real life. For now, you can’t switch sides, so either switch seats or swap characters. Or just embrace the chaos and learn to live in reverse.
