Tiny Bookshop Professor Wen Location & Walkthrough

Tiny Bookshop Professor Wen Location & Walkthrough

Professor Wen is one of the main characters you meet at St. Bookston University, a location that unlocks during your first Fall in Bookstonbury. She is linked to multiple stamp challenges, including a multi-day recommendation task that rewards you with a special decoration.

How to Find Professor Wen

St. Bookston University opens in the Fall season. You can unlock the location by speaking to Anne at the Flea Market or in other areas beforehand. Once Fall begins, travel to the University and look for a professor sitting on a bench right at the front. This is Professor Wen.

Speaking to her for the first time unlocks the Halls of Knowledge stamp. After this conversation, she will immediately give you the Academic Relevance challenge.

Academic Relevance Challenge

Professor Wen’s challenge is to impress her with three perfect recommendations. A perfect recommendation is marked by heart symbols after you suggest the book. You can only give her one recommendation per day, and the days do not have to be consecutive.

Return on three different days to complete the challenge.

When recommending, pay close attention to her preferences. She favors:

  • Classics

  • Poetry

  • Books written by women

  • Plays

  • Sophisticated works (books with the Ex Libre Bookstonbury badge are especially effective)

Match her requests closely to these interests to trigger the perfect recommendation each time.

Rewards for Academic Relevance

Completing the Academic Relevance challenge unlocks:

  • A new stamp challenge

  • Bust of St. Bookston decoration for your shop

Assigned Reading Challenge

After visiting the University several times, Anne will eventually give you the Assigned Reading challenge. This task is to sell 15 Fact or Classic books to students at the University.

To complete it:

  • Visit St. Bookston University location

  • Stock shelves heavily with Classic and Fact books to raise their sale chance

  • Continue selling until you reach 15 sales in these genres

Return to Anne to claim the reward and unlock more stamp challenges.

Final Blurb

Professor Wen is central to St. Bookston University’s story progression in Tiny Bookshop. Meeting her unlocks multiple challenges, and completing her recommendation task rewards you with one of the game’s unique decorations.

Stocking the right genres and visiting regularly will ensure you finish her quests without delays.
