Necklaces are one of those weird items you’ll barely notice until it’s too late. You can’t clean them. You can’t sell them. But eventually the game throws a timed mission at you asking for something like a couple of sapphire necklaces, and if you don’t already have them... you're out of luck.

How to Use Necklaces
You can’t buy necklaces. They show up randomly in mission drops.
If you get one, store it in a box and forget about it until the game asks.
When a mission wants necklaces, you can either:
Place them directly onto the conveyor
Or pack them in a box or suitcase and send that
If it doesn't count right away, make sure the quest is active before you load anything in.
