In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Dragon Bones are tied to the Dragon’s Lair side quest, where rumors of a mythical beast lead you on a hunt for its remains. Here’s how to track them down.

How to Get Dragon Bones

  • Start the Dragon’s Lair Quest

    • Speak with Monk Slava in Bylany to begin the quest.

    • Deliver a message to the abbot at a small church outside Kuttenberg.

    • On your way out, Gerhard offers you a deal to bring the bones to him instead.

  • Find the Dig Site (see map below)

    • Talk to Vashek in Bylany to get directions to the bones.

    • You’ll need to pass a skill check or pay him 200 Groschen for the information.

    • Bring a spade for digging.

  • Go to the Woodcutters Camp

    • Head southwest of Bylany to the woodcutters’ camp.

    • Follow the stream west until you reach the digging spot.

    • Dig up the dragon bones.

  • Deal With Leopold

    • Leopold will confront you.

    • You can intimidate him (Very Hard check) or hand over the bones.

    • If you fail, he and his guards will attack (they’re weak).

  • Decide Who to Give the Bones To

    • Gerhard (Optional) – Hand the bones over at the church or nearby inn for 275 Groschen.

    • Slava – Return to Bylany to complete the quest.

Note: If you lie to Slava and only give part of the bones, the quest ends immediately, and you cannot sell the rest.

Best Choice?

If you want money, give the bones to Gerhard. If you want to side with the monks, give them to Slava. Either way, this quest ends with no major consequences.

That’s everything you need to find and use Dragon Bones in KCD2!
