Regular merchants won’t touch stolen goods, but Fences will happily take them off your hands—for a price. Here’s where to find every Fence in Oblivion Remastered, whether you’re working with the Thieves Guild or just freelancing your way through Cyrodiil.
What Fences Do in Oblivion Remastered
Fences buy stolen goods—simple as that. For Thieves Guild members, selling enough stolen items unlocks new quests. And here’s a neat trick: sell a stolen item to a Fence, buy it back, and it loses the "stolen" tag. Now it’s yours, clean and legal.
Non-Thieves Guild Fences
If you’re not into guild politics but still want to profit from your sticky fingers, these Fences are available without needing to join the Thieves Guild.
Manheim Maulhand
Location: Inn of Ill Omen (Green Road, between Bravil and Imperial City)
