How to Get Animals and Pets
On Year 1 Spring 5, Felix gives you your first Chicken and teaches you animal care.
Ramon sells animals at his stall on Saturdays. New animals unlock as your bazaar rank improves.
You can also breed your animals through Ramon, producing baby animals that grow after about a week.
On Year 1 Summer 1, Ramon gives you a free Cat or Dog.
On Year 1 Summer 14, Ramon gives you a free Horse.
After unlocking pets, you can buy more from Ramon’s stall, with a max of four pets.
How to Care for Animals and Pets
Brush and pet daily to increase happiness and friendship. Chickens like being carried, Cows and wool animals like being brushed, and pets enjoy playing.
Feed regularly using Fodder, Chicken Feed, or Pet Food. You can also let animals graze if you plant fodder grass.
Train Cats and Dogs with Pet Treats. Cats herd chickens while Dogs herd larger animals.
Enter contests like Animal Shows and the Horse Derby to win prizes. Higher friendship and health increase your chances.
Collect goods daily with tools: Clippers for wool, Milker for Cows and Buffalo.
