The Analysis Room is one of the most useful tools in Two Point Museum. It helps increase exhibit knowledge, which makes guests happier, improves their learning experience, and ultimately increases donations.

What Does the Analysis Room Do?

  • Increases knowledge of an exhibit by deconstructing duplicate items.

  • Boosts guest satisfaction by improving how much they can learn from an exhibit.

  • Allows perks to be added to exhibits once their knowledge level is maxed.

How to Use the Analysis Room

  • Find a Duplicate Exhibit

    • Expeditions can bring back multiple copies of the same exhibit.

    • Instead of selling extras, use them for analysis to boost knowledge.

  • Send Exhibit to the Deconstructor

    • Open your inventory and select a duplicate exhibit.

    • Choose "Analyze" instead of selling it.

    • The item will be destroyed, and the knowledge level of that exhibit type will increase.

  • Wait for the Process to Finish

    • The deconstruction process takes several in-game days.

    • Once finished, the knowledge level increases, making info stands more effective.

Understanding Knowledge Levels

  • Each exhibit has a max knowledge level (e.g., 3/3 or 5/5).

  • Higher knowledge levels improve learning and can unlock perks.

  • Exhibits of higher rarity (Great, Epic, Pristine) contribute more knowledge when analyzed.

Perks & Bonuses

  • Once an exhibit reaches max knowledge, you can assign perks to it.

  • Example perks include faster restoration XP for experts or better guest interaction.

  • Some exhibits require decorations nearby to activate their full Buzz potential.

Should You Sell or Analyze?

  • If low on money → Sell duplicate exhibits for profit.

  • If focused on museum quality → Analyze duplicates to improve knowledge.

Final Tips

  • Expeditions are random, so keep sending them until you get the right quality exhibits.

  • The Survey Scanner improves expedition success and helps find higher-quality items.

  • Max knowledge exhibits make guests happier, which increases donation income.

  • Keep an eye on staff happiness and museum cleanliness to prevent issues.

By using the Analysis Room wisely, you can maximize knowledge, keep guests entertained, and grow your museum’s reputation!
