Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Level Cap Explained

Leveling up in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a little more straightforward than some of the other entries in the series. The level cap is 60, which is actually pretty normal for Assassin’s Creed.
But before you start sprinting toward that cap like you’re chasing a fleeing guard, here’s what you should know.
What Happens at Level 60?
You stop earning XP toward levels, but you can still earn Mastery Points from quests, side content, and enemy kills.
Your base stats (like health and damage) stop increasing after level 60.
You’ll still need to explore the world for Knowledge Points, which are completely separate from your level.
Is Level 60 the End of Progression?
Not at all. The real meat of progression comes from:
Mastery Points – Let you buy skills for Naoe and Yasuke.
Knowledge Points – Let you unlock higher rows of skills.
You’ll need both to fully max out your characters. Just hitting level 60 won’t magically make you strong enough to steamroll bosses.
Is Leveling Shared Between Naoe and Yasuke?
Yes. Both characters share the same level, XP, Mastery Points, and Knowledge Points. You won’t need to grind separately. One less thing to stress about.
Final Blurb
So yeah, level 60 is the cap in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but it’s not the end of your journey. Keep racking up Mastery and Knowledge Points after hitting the cap if you want to truly max out your skills — and maybe get revenge in style while you’re at it.
