Best Class in Mandragora Whispers of the Witch Tree (Flameweaver Guide)

If you want to play aggressively in Mandragora and basically punch every boss in the face until they give up, this build is for you. It’s built around the Flameweaver class which is the best in the game, but it leans into daggers, crits, fire damage, and being tanky enough to not explode on impact.
You can start building this around level 25. It’ll carry you through most of the game.
Here’s why the Flameweaver is the best class in the Mandragora.
Weapon: Sanguin Kiss
This dagger drops from the Fang Executioner in the Ruins of West Wickham.
You’ll likely unlock that area after beating the first Weaver boss.
Sanguin Kiss scales with Dexterity and Spell Power, so you can build into either (though Dexterity is more reliable).
Has a solid skill called Blade Dance and fits perfectly with the rapid-attack style of this build.
Armor: Raider Set
Medium armor with Dexterity, Constitution, and Vigor.
Some pieces come with crit chance or crit damage, which is a nice bonus.
You want to stay under 70% equipment load to keep fast rolls and avoid penalties.
Don’t stress if you can’t find the full Raider set. Any medium armor with similar stats will work fine early on.
Cape: Light Leather Cape
Gives you physical damage and crit damage.
Can be crafted easily from basic materials like hemp twine and light leather.
Found early in the game from the first tailor you meet.
Rings
Use a mix of these:
Assassin’s Ring – boosts physical crit chance.
Blazing Circle – adds burn chance to your attacks.
Ring of Energy – boosts stamina and can be found in the sewers.
Focus Ring – found in a locked chest in the Old Cam Living District. You'll need a lockpick.
All of them help boost your damage and keep your attacks flowing.
Active Skills
Blazing Weapon
Adds fire damage to your weapon for 30 seconds.
If you unlock the no-relic upgrade, you can use it while dual-wielding daggers.
Bought from Geralt in town.
Shadow Step
Teleports you behind an enemy and deals weapon damage.
Some upgrades give you invincibility frames or bonus effects.
Unlocked through a quest from Geralt after defeating the Weaver boss and getting access to the sewers.
Optional Early Skill: Toxic Shiv
A decent temporary skill if you’re going full Dex early.
It applies poison but doesn’t stack with fire, so it’s not great for this build long-term.
Talent Tree Summary
This build mixes survivability, burn effects, and attack speed.
Start in the Flameweaver tree:
Go through Constitution, Endurance, and Defense.
Grab Controlled Explosion – gives you a burst of AoE damage every five attacks.
Pick up Burning Blood – spreads incoming damage over five seconds, and lets you reduce it by attacking more.
Then get Fury – boosts attack speed when you land four attacks quickly.
Next, work toward:
Warrior’s Might – gives physical damage based on Constitution and Defense.
Phoenix – revives you with 50% HP and explodes enemies around you. Has a 5-minute cooldown. It’s basically a second life.
Critical Nodes – focus on physical crit chance.
Molten Strike – turns half your physical damage into fire. Use it if you’re confident enemies won’t resist fire.
Optional:
Dip into Invenom tree for Dark Focus if you scale with Power. It gives bonus flat damage.
You can also try switching into the Vanguard tree later for more raw melee power, bleed effects, and healing passives.
Final Blurb
This Flameweaver dagger build lets you slash fast, burn enemies, and tank more than you'd expect. It's flexible, flashy, and still works if you mess up the stat spread a little. Go Dexterity if you want the smoother path. Go Strength if you're feeling spicy. Either way, you’ll be the problem.
