Blue Prince: Den Room Guide

The Den is one of the more reliable “resource” rooms in Blue Prince. It’s a Common blueprint, meaning it shows up fairly often in your draft pool. You won’t need to spend gems to place it, and that’s part of what makes it valuable—it gives more than it takes.
Every time you enter the Den, there’s a guaranteed gem waiting for you. You don’t need to solve anything. No puzzles. No riddles. No math. It’s just… there. Usually on a table or in plain sight. You grab it, you leave. Simple.
Layout-wise, the Den usually has three doors, often arranged in a straight line or L-shape. That makes it a decent mid-path room if you’re trying to build out your estate in multiple directions. Or, if you’ve got one open door to fill near the end of your day, the Den is a nice utility room to draft without wasting steps.

Because it’s common, you’ll see it across all rank levels. It doesn’t seem to appear more often in a specific part of the manor, but like most common rooms, it shows up more reliably in earlier ranks before the drafting pool gets crowded with high-cost or rare rooms.
The gem reward also means it pays for itself if you're planning to draft a gem-cost room later in the same day. You can even chain Den → Observatory if you're low on gems but still want to bank a star before ending the day.
Final Blurb
The Den is a workhorse with no secrets… Just a free gem in a plain little room with soft lighting and a comfy chair. If you’re struggling to scrape together gems or looking for a no-risk draft to plug a hallway gap, the Den won’t let you down.
