Alzara, the fortune teller, is one of the most mysterious tools in Blue Prince. Found inside the Rumpus Room, this machine dishes out vague prophecies and cryptic lines that, over time, might actually start to make sense. Kind of like your dreams after too many hours with this game.

But what does he really do? And is it worth spending your precious coins for his riddles? Let’s get into it.

Where to Find the Fortune Teller

The fortune teller — known officially as Alzara — lives inside the Rumpus Room, which is a standard rarity blueprint. You’ll start seeing this room pop up more often once you reach the middle ranks of the estate. It costs 1 Gem to draft, so be ready to spend a little.

Once drafted, the Rumpus Room has a single purpose: it holds the Alzara machine, waiting quietly in the corner like it knows too much.

How It Works

You can only use Alzara once per day, and each reading costs 1 Gold Coin. After paying, you’ll receive a fortune… Usually something vague, ominous, or both. At first, these lines seem like throwaway flavor text. But if you keep coming back to him across multiple runs, the fortunes start to get more specific. Some even contain subtle hints about upcoming rooms, item locations, or events that haven’t happened yet.

Think of Alzara as a slow-burn hint system, one that rewards repeated visits and long-term thinking.

Are the Fortunes Useful?

Yes — eventually. But they’re not direct, and they definitely won’t spell things out for you. Instead, they give you just enough of a nudge to raise suspicion about something you might’ve otherwise ignored.

Examples of useful outcomes:

  • A clue that hints at a secret door or safe

  • A warning about a cursed room

  • A tip about a future event or item

There’s no “correct” way to use the fortune teller. You can ignore him entirely, or you can build your route around making sure you see him every day. Some players even log every fortune to try and spot patterns.

Is It Worth Using?

If you’ve got spare coins, yes — it’s absolutely worth using. Alzara is one of the only consistent ways to get subtle hints about the manor without needing a walkthrough. He won't hand you solutions, but he’ll definitely whisper at the edges of your map.

Just remember: one use per day, costs 1 coin, and gets better over time.

Final Blurb

The Rumpus Room’s fortune teller might look like a gimmick, but Alzara’s strange little riddles are sometimes the only help you’re going to get in this maze of a mansion. If you’ve got a coin and a question, toss it in — just don’t expect a straight answer. This is Blue Prince, after all.
