Breathedge 2 Achievements Guide: How to Get All 39

Breathedge 2 currently has 39 achievements to unlock during its Early Access version of Chapter 1, ranging from straightforward interactions around the train station to long collection grinds and some extremely specific Breathedge-style nonsense. If you're going for 100%, the easiest approach isn't to hunt every achievement individually. Several of the grindier unlocks can be progressed naturally while you're traveling between the more specific puzzles, and a few achievements directly lead into another one.

How Many Achievements Are in Breathedge 2?

There are currently 39 Breathedge 2 achievements on Steam. Since the game launched into Early Access with Chapter 1, this is the current list rather than necessarily the final achievement total Breathedge 2 will have once later chapters are released.

It is also worth doing some of these earlier than you normally might. Achievements in Breathedge 2 can provide actual character bonuses instead of functioning purely as collectibles, with rewards affecting stats such as oxygen, movement, protection, carry capacity, and survival needs. That gives you a reason to knock out easy achievements while you're still progressing rather than leaving the entire list for the end of the chapter.

Start the Grind Achievements Immediately

Before worrying about the weird one-off achievements, start treating several ordinary objects as achievement progress. Pick up Oxyworms whenever you see them, inspect corpses, search trash cans, unscrew light bulbs, and smash disposable objects into scrap while you're already exploring. Those actions eventually feed Oxyworm Collector, People Person, Bum Rival, Hoodlum, and Honorary Vandal, and leaving all of them until the end turns otherwise passive progress into a much more annoying cleanup run.

Alcohol should also be saved rather than consumed randomly at first. You eventually need to drink 50 bottles for Happy whatever!, while Hehehehehe specifically requires 10 bottles to be consumed consecutively. Once you've collected at least 10, you can knock out the consecutive-drinking requirement and have those same bottles count toward the larger 50-bottle total.

I'd approach Chapter 1 this way in general: complete location-specific achievements whenever you're already in that part of the map, while constantly progressing the large counters in the background.

Train and Station Achievements

Hacker — Near the exit of your train is a locked door requiring a password. Enter 0861 to open it and unlock Hacker. This is one of the easiest achievements in the game once you know the code, so there isn't much reason to leave it sitting unfinished.

Click-click — Find the controls for the toilet light and repeatedly toggle the light using the buttons. Keep clicking until the achievement triggers.

Emergency brake — There is an emergency brake handle on the wall along the route toward the toilet. Pull it for Emergency brake. It's another simple interaction that is easy to ignore if you're only following objectives.

Consistency — Look around the station for a large floating number 4. Grab it and follow the nearby line back toward the sign where the number belongs, then place the 4 onto the sign to "fix" it and unlock Consistency.

Jacked — Find the urological exercise machine and interact with it 10 times. Each interaction counts as a rep, so you can finish the entire requirement immediately rather than returning later.

Curious — Remove your helmet while you're exposed to space. The achievement should trigger from the extremely questionable decision to experience space directly, at which point I'd put the helmet back on before curiosity starts affecting your life expectancy.

Conehead — Find the figure wearing a traffic cone as a helmet, take the cone, and equip it yourself. You don't need to keep running around dressed like that afterward; wearing it is the important part.

Gotta do it — Find the shoes that still have leg bones attached to them and put them on, then make your way to the train wire to complete the interaction associated with the achievement. It's exactly the sort of environmental gag that's easy to fly past if you're only looking for useful loot.

Police Station, Bus, and Railroad Achievements

Biometrics — Look through the debris on the platform below the police station for a corpse, then drag the body over to the nearby bench. Putting the corpse onto the bench completes the rather literal biometric solution and unlocks the achievement.

Public enemy no. 1 — Steal the police donut. More specifically, there's a large donut associated with the police station that can be ripped away, which apparently constitutes the greatest possible crime in this part of space.

Gangsta — You need to provoke the cops 20 times and get them to chase you. You can deliberately work on this around the police station rather than waiting for it to happen naturally, but there's no real benefit to doing all 20 attempts in one uninterrupted session if you're already passing through the area repeatedly.

Deja vu — Enter the bus, get to its wheel, and attempt to control it using your movement inputs. On keyboard, use WASD while interacting with the wheel until the achievement pops.

Fighter — At the bus you'll encounter an old woman keeping the window closed. Attempt to break her arm and open the window three times to unlock Fighter. Don't leave immediately after getting it, because this achievement also sets up another unlock at the same bus.

What Did You Expect? — Complete Fighter first, then inspect the engine next to the bus wheel. Since both achievements are tied to the same location, doing them back-to-back saves an unnecessary return trip.

Ladies' Man — At the end of the railroad you'll find a woman sitting in a chair. The glove she needs is located on the other side of the rails; retrieve it, return to the woman, and put the glove on her to unlock the achievement.

Repair, Build, and Puzzle Achievements

Attendant — Find the broken station attendant and collect the missing parts scattered around the body. Bring the pieces back and reconstruct the attendant to finish the repair and unlock the achievement. Since the components are in the surrounding area, search locally before flying off looking for materials somewhere else.

Weird toilet — Find the broken strange toilet and locate its missing pieces, then repair it. Like Attendant, this is more of a local scavenger puzzle than a resource grind, so thoroughly check the immediate area around the toilet.

Shipbuilder — Head to the right side of the train rails and look for the toilet with a rocket attached to it. Gather the items required by the repair and finish rebuilding the rocket to unlock Shipbuilder.

Alphabet — This becomes relevant after fixing the antenna. Near the taxi sign you'll notice letters are missing, with the required pieces scattered around the surrounding area. Collect them and restore the sign with the letters in the proper order.

Medalist — Alphabet and Medalist are worth doing during the same trip. Once you've reached the antenna and taxi-sign area, look for the nearby taxi containing the medals and inspect the relevant display to get Medalist rather than leaving immediately after repairing the sign.

Safe Content — Find the playground/platform area with the floating yellow training dummies and put the rag-doll kids into the lockers. Make sure you've dealt with all of the required dummies rather than stopping after moving the first one.

Go Down in History — Find the area containing three toilets and the unfinished sculpture. The clay or mud pieces required to finish it are around the same location, including around the toilets and platform. Place the pieces onto the sculpture and finish shaping them to complete the artwork and unlock the achievement.

Traditional Values — After leaving the train, follow the additional train debris until you reach the platform with the heart/love-lock display. Use your Scrap tool on the locks to destroy them and earn Traditional Values.

Now That's a Snowman! — This one requires enough story or environmental progress to raise the area's ambient temperature first. Once that's done, follow the yellow pipes underneath the station toward the snowman area, repair the gas lamp, melt the ice, and collect the nearby missing pieces needed to rebuild the snowman.

Leader — Find the large damaged statue and search the surrounding debris for its distinctive colored floating pieces. Return each piece to the statue until you've completely rebuilt it. I'd finish this while you're already exploring the area rather than trying to remember which pieces you've picked up several hours later.

System Administrator — Once you reach PornHubble, look around the main panel. Destroy the four smaller caches positioned to the right side of the panel first, then destroy the larger cache to the left to clear the cache and unlock System Administrator.

Collection and Grind Achievements

Happy whatever! — Drink 50 bottles of alcohol in total. They do not need to be consumed consecutively, so this can be progressed throughout Chapter 1. Just make sure the first batch of 10 is used for Hehehehehe so you're working toward both achievements at once.

Hehehehehe — Drink 10 bottles of alcohol one after another. Unlike Happy whatever!, this one does care about the consecutive sequence, so stockpile at least 10 before attempting it.

Hoodlum — Unscrew 10 light bulbs. Whenever you find an accessible bulb while exploring, take it rather than assuming you'll remember every location later.

People Person — Inspect 10 corpses. Bodies are scattered throughout the exploration areas, and grabbing or pulling them close enough to properly inspect them counts toward the total. This is another achievement that is almost effortless if you work on it naturally and annoying if you ignore every corpse until the end.

Honorary Vandal — Smash 200 objects into scrap using the Scrap tool. You should start destroying useless breakable objects early because 200 is large enough that deliberately farming the entire requirement later becomes repetitive.

Bum Rival — Get 20 items out of trash cans. Search or hit trash containers whenever you encounter them and take the objects that come out until you've reached the required total.

Hunting Instinct — Moles can be found hiding inside asteroids. Use Sui's long arm/hand to yank them out, and continue doing this until you've pulled 10 moles for the achievement. Don't just grab the first one for the joke and assume that's enough.

Slave to the Stomach — Recycle 100 nutrients or moldy food items through the Nutri-Pack-O-Mat on the train. Since the requirement is based on quantity, feed unwanted applicable food into the machine throughout the chapter rather than saving the whole grind for the end.

Visitor — Visit all seven toilets scattered around the Outskirts. This is worth pairing with normal exploration because several toilets are tied to other locations and achievements anyway, including the train and other unusual structures around the station. Make a point of actually entering or interacting with each toilet you discover rather than simply flying past it.

Oxyworm Collector — Pick up 300 Oxyworms. This is one of the longest passive collection achievements in Chapter 1, so grab them from the beginning of the game even when you don't immediately need them. Waiting until every other achievement is finished and then searching exclusively for hundreds of Oxyworms is the slowest possible way to do it.

Patient, Prankster, and Other Special Achievements

Patient — Reach the turret associated with the achievement and remain there for the required waiting period. The wait requirement increases as the sequence progresses, so go into this with enough oxygen to comfortably remain in the area instead of starting the interaction when you're already running low. Some early guides incorrectly spell this achievement as "Pantient," but the Steam achievement itself is Patient.

Prankster — Progress far enough to finish the first main story quest and gain access to the phone. Call the anti-terror hotline, choose option 3, and then wait for five minutes. Don't hang up or abandon the interaction early just because nothing immediately happens.

Gladiator — Eventually the Bum can appear carrying a mattress. Fight and defeat him when the encounter becomes available to unlock Gladiator. Unlike many of the environmental achievements, this one is tied to the actual confrontation rather than finding and interacting with a prop.

Best Way to Get All Breathedge 2 Achievements

The fastest path to all 39 achievements is to avoid treating them as 39 separate objectives. From the beginning of Chapter 1, collect every Oxyworm you reasonably pass, inspect corpses, raid trash cans, unscrew bulbs, recycle unwanted food, and smash disposable objects. Keep at least 10 alcohol bottles until you can unlock Hehehehehe in one sequence, then continue drinking bottles over time for Happy whatever!.

When you enter a major location, clear its related achievements before moving on. Fighter should immediately be followed by What Did You Expect?, while Alphabet and Medalist can both be handled around the antenna and taxi area. Several of the repair achievements also keep their missing pieces near the object being repaired, so thoroughly searching the local platform is generally faster than leaving and coming back later.

I would leave Oxyworm Collector, Honorary Vandal, Slave to the Stomach, and any other unfinished counters as the final cleanup rather than deliberately grinding them at the beginning. If you've been progressing them naturally throughout the chapter, you should already have removed most of the work by the time you're actually ready for 100%.

Are These All the Breathedge 2 Achievements?

These are all 39 achievements currently available in the Early Access release of Breathedge 2. The game currently contains Chapter 1, so the achievement list can expand as RedRuins Softworks adds additional chapters and content during Early Access. For now, completing the achievements above covers the full Steam list available at launch.
