Crashlands 2: How to Get the Popstaff

If you're trying to craft and realized you didn’t Popstaff first, don’t panic! A lot of players miss this step without even knowing it.
Where to Get the Popstaff
The Popstaff recipe is given during a quest called "Stranger Danger", which is handed out by Graal.
But here's the catch:
You have to complete the Garden Story questline first. Once that’s wrapped up, head back to your base and check in with Graal. If all’s gone to plan, he should have the Stranger Danger quest waiting for you.
If the quest still doesn’t show up:
Make sure you’ve finished all active quests from the Garden area.
Try progressing the main story a bit more, especially up to and beyond Husk End.
What If You Missed It?
Good news: The devs are planning a patch that will let you craft upgraded staves even without the Popstaff. But until that patch hits, you'll still need the original to move forward with the staff chain.
