Tibault’s Will drops from Diablo 4’s general Unique pool in Season 14, which means it no longer has one clean boss you can farm over and over for a dedicated drop. The best way to get Tibault’s Will now is to use the Horadric Cube’s Upgrade to Unique recipe on pants, because that forces the roll into the pants slot instead of making you fight the full Unique loot pool.

That is the whole farm in one sentence, but the annoying part is what it means in practice. Bosses can still drop Tibault’s Will. Helltides can still drop it. Whispers, Nightmare Dungeons, Legion Events, World Bosses, and Obols can all technically hand you a pair. The problem is that “technically” is where time goes to die. For Season 14, the smart plan is to farm materials and pants bases, then let the Cube do the focused work.

Tibault’s Will can drop from general Unique sources in Diablo 4 Season 14. It is an all-class Unique Pants item, so it is not locked to one class boss table or one named dungeon.

The realistic sources are:

Horadric Cube Upgrade to Unique attempts on pants.
Lair Bosses through the general Unique pool.
Belial and other high-end boss reward sources.
Helltide chests.
Nightmare Dungeons and Escalating Nightmares.
Whisper Caches from the Tree of Whispers.
World Bosses and Legion Events.
Purveyor of Curiosity pants gambling.

The best source is not the one with the longest list. It is the one that gives you the most control. That is why the Horadric Cube matters so much this season. Bosses and world content are broad. The Cube lets you aim at Unique pants specifically.

Best Way To Farm Tibault’s Will

The best Tibault’s Will farm in Season 14 is to collect Ancestral pants, upgrade them into Unique pants through the Horadric Cube, and repeat until Tibault’s Will appears.

This is much better than farming one random boss and hoping the loot table feels generous. With the Cube, every attempt is at least rolling in the correct item slot. You can still miss, and you probably will, because Diablo would apparently lose its license if it respected your evening. But you are missing in the right category.

The best farming loop looks like this:

Run endgame content for materials, Obols, and random Unique chances.
Pick up or gamble Ancestral pants bases.
Use the Horadric Cube’s Upgrade to Unique recipe on pants.
Keep repeating the pants roll until Tibault’s Will shows up.
Use boss runs and Helltides to support the farm, not replace it.

This gives every activity a job. Helltides feed materials. Whispers feed caches. Obols feed pants bases. Bosses feed side drops and general Unique chances. The Cube is where the Tibault’s Will hunt becomes focused.

How To Use The Horadric Cube For Tibault’s Will

To farm Tibault’s Will with the Horadric Cube, use the Upgrade to Unique recipe on pants. Since Tibault’s Will is Unique Pants, this narrows the result to the pants category instead of rolling every Unique in the game.

The clean version:

Collect Ancestral pants.
Use the Upgrade to Unique recipe in the Horadric Cube.
Roll the pants into a Unique pants item.
Repeat until the result is Tibault’s Will.

Ancestral pants are the bases you want if you are trying to end up with an endgame pair. A lower-quality pair may still technically become Tibault’s Will, but nobody wants to finally hit the drop and immediately feel like they need a better version.

You will probably roll other pants first. Temerity is the classic “congratulations, but not really” result. Tassets of the Dawning Sky can show up too. That does not mean the method is bad. It means the Cube is doing exactly what it should: giving you Unique pants rolls. You still have to beat the pants pool.

Should You Farm Bosses For Tibault’s Will?

Bosses can drop Tibault’s Will, but they are not the best direct farm in Season 14.

The reason is the general Unique pool. A boss kill can absolutely reward Tibault’s Will, but it can also reward a lot of other things. If you are farming that boss for other drops, materials, Greater Affixes, or Mythic chances, great. If you are only there for Tibault’s Will, the farm can get ugly fast.

Boss farming is still useful when it supports the bigger loop:

You need boss-specific Uniques anyway.
You want Mythic Unique chances.
You need boss trophies or materials.
You are farming high-end rewards while waiting for Cube materials.

The mistake is turning one boss into a Tibault’s Will shrine because someone got lucky there. RNG stories are not loot tables. They are campfire tales with worse math.

How Obols Help The Tibault’s Will Farm

Obols are useful for Tibault’s Will because they can help you generate more pants bases for Cube upgrades.

The Purveyor of Curiosity can technically give strong items directly, but the better use in this farm is gambling pants, saving usable bases, and feeding those into the Cube. That turns Obols into fuel instead of blind hope.

The Obol loop is:

Farm Obols from events and seasonal activity loops.
Gamble pants at the Purveyor.
Keep Ancestral pants bases.
Use those bases for Horadric Cube Unique upgrades.

That is a much better plan than treating the Purveyor like a benevolent loot god. The Purveyor is not your friend. The Purveyor is a slot machine wearing a robe.

What Tibault’s Will Does

Tibault’s Will gives increased damage while Unstoppable and for a short time after becoming Unstoppable. It also restores 50 Primary Resource when you become Unstoppable.

That combination is why these pants have stayed relevant across so many builds. Damage multipliers are already valuable. Resource refunds are already valuable. Putting both on one item is why people keep chasing Tibault’s Will even after the farm gets worse.

The catch is that the item only shines if your build can become Unstoppable often enough. If Unstoppable is already part of your rotation, Tibault’s Will feels natural. If you have to force awkward Unstoppable triggers just to justify the pants, the item starts to feel more like homework than an upgrade.

The best Tibault’s Will setups use the effect as a bonus on top of something the build already wants to do. That is the difference between a real build item and a shiny pair of pants causing bad decisions.

Best Builds For Tibault’s Will

The best builds for Tibault’s Will are builds that become Unstoppable often and can spend the refunded resource immediately.

Whirlwind Barbarian is the obvious example. Fury sustain matters, and any item that helps keep the spin going is going to get attention. Druid builds with strong Unstoppable windows can also make great use of Tibault’s Will. Rogue, Sorcerer, and Warlock builds can use it as a damage push option when they can survive without more defensive pants.

Tibault’s Will is usually worth testing if your build has:

Reliable Unstoppable uptime.
High resource spending.
Strong burst windows.
Enough defense to give up a safer pants slot.

It is much less appealing if your build:

Rarely becomes Unstoppable.
Already has enough resource sustain.
Needs defensive pants to stay alive.
Loses a key Aspect by swapping to Tibault’s Will.

This is where the item gets overhyped. Tibault’s Will is very good. It is not an apology letter from Blizzard for every build problem. If your character is already getting flattened, adding more conditional damage may just help you die with a more ambitious tooltip.

Should You Upgrade Tibault’s Will To Mythic?

Only upgrade Tibault’s Will to Mythic if the pants are a core part of your build, not just a temporary damage experiment.

The upgrade is tempting because Tibault’s Will is strong and flexible, but Mythic resources are not something to spend casually. A crafted Mythic Tibault’s Will needs to beat your other crafted Mythic options and fit the build long-term.

The easiest test is to play without the pants for a few runs. If the build immediately feels worse because resource sustain and damage windows fall apart, Tibault’s Will is probably central enough to consider upgrading. If the build feels mostly the same, keep the materials for something more important.

Upgrade it when the roll is strong, the build is committed, and the Unstoppable loop is part of your actual damage plan. Do not upgrade it just because the item is popular. Popular items can still be wrong for your character.

Is Tibault’s Will Worth Chasing?

Tibault’s Will is worth chasing in Season 14 if your build has reliable Unstoppable uptime and benefits from the 50 Primary Resource refund. It is not worth blindly farming for every character.

The item is still excellent. The farm is the problem. Because Tibault’s Will sits in the general Unique pool, old-school boss spamming is too unfocused unless you need other rewards from those bosses anyway. The Horadric Cube method is the cleanest path because it lets you roll Unique pants directly.

The best plan is to farm endgame content for Obols, materials, and pants bases, use the Cube for focused attempts, and treat random drops from bosses or chests as a bonus. Chase Tibault’s Will when the build actually wants Unstoppable damage and resource sustain. Skip the obsession when your setup needs defense more than another conditional multiplier.
