How Many Hours of Content Does RuneScape: Dragonwilds Have?
Right now, in Early Access, the game has around 20 to 40 hours of content according to some of the devs. That depends on how fast you explore, how much time you spend building, and how often you get vaporized by dragon poison while trying to boil water. This also doesn’t take into consideration the amount of time you spend building and decorating your lil home.
That’s not the end, though. Dragonwilds is set to receive major content updates every 3 to 4 months, including new regions, skills, gear, and maybe a reason to keep rebuilding your house. Regular patch notes and bug fixes will roll out in-between.
You have to remember this game is also in Early Access, so much more is sure to come, especially with how much htey can lean into the RuneScape IP for content ideas.
A Few Other Things That Might Help You Plan:
Your character progression carries across worlds. So you can start solo and still bring your levels into a co-op world later.
The current skill cap is 50, but they plan to raise it to 99—just like in RuneScape. Yes, mastery capes are coming too.
Early Access gives you full access to the game at launch. No need to repurchase it.
You can toggle friendly fire if you want PvP. Or if you just want to betray your friends during a goblin raid for laughs.
Final Blurb
For now, expect 20–40 hours of dragons, building, and vaguely explained crafting systems. But if you’re in it for the long haul, Dragonwilds is shaping up to be a much bigger world with more skills, more craziness, and probably more ways to accidentally poison yourself while cooking meat.
