Want to hunt monsters with your buddies? First, you need to add them as friends. Here’s how to do it—quick and painless (mostly).

1. Find Your Hunter ID

  • Open the Menu → Info → Hunter Profile → Toggle Hunter ID

  • Or go to Menu → Communication → Player List → Link Members

  • Share this ID with your friends so they can find you.

2. Search for a Friend’s Hunter ID

  • Open Menu → Communication → Player List

  • Select Hunter ID Search and enter your friend’s ID

  • Click on their name and choose Send Friend Request

3. Accept Friend Requests

  • Go to Menu → Communication → Invite Notification List

  • Find the request and accept it

4. Invite Friends to Your Link Party (Best for Multiplayer)

  • Open Menu → Communication → Link Party → Invite to Link Party

  • Choose from your Hunter Friends, Lobby Members, or Squad Members

  • Once in a Link Party, you’ll automatically get invites to each other’s quests

5. Add Friends From a Lobby

  • If you're in a Lobby, go to Menu → Communication → Member List

  • Click on a player’s name and select Send Friend Request

That’s it! Once added, you can easily invite your friends and start hunting without wasting time scrolling through menus. Now go find some monsters.
