If you picked a voice for your hunter and now regret it—maybe they sound too gruff, too soft, or just plain annoying—don’t worry. You can change it anytime in Monster Hunter Wilds. The same goes for your Palico’s voice, including switching them back to their classic Felyne chatter.
How to Change Your Voice in Monster Hunter Wilds
Go to your Player Tent at any camp.
Interact with the tent and open the Appearance Menu.
Select Change Appearance to re-enter the character creator.
Choose the Hunter option.
Scroll down to Voice Pitch—there are 20 different options to tweak how your hunter sounds.
Your hunter’s voice will change immediately, so no need to restart or reload.
How to Change Palico’s Voice
Enter your Player Tent at camp.
Open the Appearance Menu and select Change Appearance.
Choose the Palico option.
Adjust the Voice Pitch to any of the 20 available tones.
If you want your Palico to stop talking like a human, toggle the Felyne Language option.
This setting will make your Palico meow and chirp like in previous Monster Hunter games.
