Fishing in Tower Unite is a relaxing way to earn Units, fill out your Collection Book, and find some rare loot. All you need is a fishing rod, some bait, and a bit of patience. Here’s how to fish in the game.

Step 1: Get Your Gear

  • Head to the Gone Fishin’ Bait Shop on the Boardwalk.

  • Buy a Fishing Rod and some Bait.

  • Different baits attract different types of fish.

  • One bait is used per catch (unless you're using a special Lure).

To equip bait:
Right-click with the rod equipped, then pick your bait.

Step 2: Find a Fishing Spot

You can only fish in specific areas around the Plaza:

  • On the Boardwalk

  • At the fishing pond near the East stores

  • On the dock behind Game World Ports

  • On the peninsula near the Boardwalk

Walk up to the water, face it, and click to cast.

Step 3: Attracting Fish

Once your line’s in the water, fish will start to appear. When one gets interested, you’ll see a ‘!’ icon above it. If the bobber moves too much, the fish will leave.

  • Wait for the fish to nibble.

  • When it bites (you’ll see a jaw icon), click to hook it.

Step 4: Catch the Fish

A ring UI will appear with two orbiting lines:

  • The white line is yours.

  • The colored line is the fish.

Keep your white line overlapping the colored one. If they drift apart, the stress meter builds. If it maxes out, the fish escapes.

Once caught, your character will hold the fish up, and you can choose to keep or sell it.

What Can You Catch?

  • Small Fish – Common, easy to catch

  • Large Fish – Also common, but tougher

  • Rare Fish – Harder to find, valuable

  • Items – Trash, treasure, or weird stuff

  • Rare Items – Higher-value non-fish loot

Everything you catch fills out your Collection Book under the Fishing tab.

Final Blurb

Fishing in Tower Unite is simple: rod, bait, cast, catch. If you're here for the chill fun or the loot, it’s a solid way to unwind and rake in some Units on the side. Just don’t snap your line—and maybe skip the trash bait.
