How to Fix Rust in Caves of Qud

In Caves of Qud metal items can become rusted, making them unusable. To fix rusted items, you have several options:
Use the Repair Skill: If your character has the Repair skill, you can fix rusted items yourself. This requires having the necessary bits and components. To repair an item, access your abilities menu, select the Repair skill, and choose the rusted item you wish to fix.
Apply Fix-It Spray Foam: This consumable item can remove rust from metal objects. When you find Fix-It Spray Foam, use it on the rusted item to restore it.
Seek Help from NPCs: Some non-player characters (NPCs) offer repair services. For example, Argyve in Joppa can repair items for you. To have an NPC repair your item, initiate a trade with them, select the rusted item, and press the 'R' key to request repair.
To prevent items from rusting, avoid contact with creatures like qudzu and environments that cause rust. Additionally, items with the lacquered mod are resistant to rust.
