How to Make a Campfire in Deadside

In Deadside, a campfire is important for cooking food and staying warm. Here’s a step-by-step guide to craft and use one:

1. Gather Materials

  • Branches: Use a knife to cut bushes and collect branches.

  • Lighter: You’ll need this to light the campfire.

2. Craft the Campfire

  • Press the "B" key to open the build menu.

  • Go to the autonomous section and select "Campfire."

  • Place the campfire blueprint on flat ground; the outline will turn green if the spot is valid.

  • Add 5 branches to complete the campfire.

3. Light the Campfire

  • Make sure you have a lighter in your inventory.

  • Walk up to the campfire and interact with it to light it.

4. Cook Food

  • Add Fuel: Put branches or logs into the campfire to keep it burning.

    • 1 branch burns for 5 seconds.

    • 1 log burns for 20 seconds.

  • Cook Meat: Place raw meat into the campfire inventory.

    • Each piece of meat takes 20 seconds to cook.

    • Be careful not to leave meat too long, or it will burn and cause dehydration.

Tips:

  • Campfires despawn after 30 minutes so retrieve items before they disappear.

  • Choose flat ground to make placement easier.
