Henry doesn’t start with much in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and without money, life gets tough. You need Groschen for food, weapons, repairs, and even a place to sleep. Here’s how to make money quickly without wasting time in KCD2.

Best Ways to Make Money

1. Brew and Sell Potions

  • Henry learns alchemy early in the game, so use it.

  • Pick herbs for free and brew potions.

  • Sell potions to alchemists and merchants for easy profit.

  • The better the potion, the more it’s worth.

2. Answer Riddles for Free Money

  • Find Riddler Barley—he travels between towns.

  • If you answer his riddles correctly, he rewards you.

  • First riddle pays 150 Groschen, and if you keep winning, you can earn 550 Groschen total.

3. Loot Dead Bodies

  • Bandits and vagabonds drop weapons, armor, and money.

  • Sell their gear at shops, but be careful—stolen items are harder to sell.

  • Avoid suspicion by using a fence (a black market trader).

4. Work for the Blacksmith

  • In Tachov, Henry can work for the blacksmith during the Wedding Crashers quest.

  • Learn basic smithing and craft items like horseshoes, axes, and swords.

  • Sell what you make for steady Groschen.

5. Complete Side Quests

  • Side quests often give good money as a reward.

  • Look for quest givers in villages and towns.

  • Some noble or merchant quests pay more than others.

Quick Money-Making Tips

  • Steal carefully – Avoid getting caught with stolen goods.

  • Haggle – Always negotiate prices when selling items.

  • Sell to the right traders – Blacksmiths pay more for weapons, tailors for clothes, etc.

  • Hunt and sell meat – Cooked venison and boar meat sell well.

With these methods, Henry will never be broke again. Get out there and start making some Groschen.
