How to Romance Rosa Guide KCD2 | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Walkthrough

Rosa Ruthard is one of Henry’s romance options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Unlike other romances, pursuing Rosa does not lock you out of romancing anyone else, as she leaves the country before Henry has to make a final choice. Here’s a step-by-step guide to winning her affection.
Step 1: Meet Rosa in "Taking French Leave"
During the Taking French Leave main quest, you’ll meet Sir Kunzlin Ruthard and his daughter Rosa.
After helping Kunzlin, Rosa will ask you to retrieve a red book inlaid in gold from Maleshov Fortress.
Step 2: Retrieve and Read the Book
While rescuing Hans Capon in Taking French Leave, you’ll find the book in a room near him on the top floor of the tower.
Before returning it to Rosa, read through it. This gives you extra dialogue options later.
When Rosa asks if you’ve read it, say "If only there were more such books."
Agree to help her write a story and pick the following options to gain reputation:
A woman
She should be clever
Only fools say that
Good intent
Then, say:
"It’s pretty, really."
"I’d like to get to know you better sometime."
This sets up the romance for later.
Step 3: Be Careful During "Dancing with the Devil"
Later, in the main quest Dancing with the Devil, do not choose:
"There's no other way. We're torching the tower."
Burning the tower Rosa is inside will ruin your chances with her.
Step 4: Travel with Rosa in "Oratores"
During Oratores, insist that Rosa go with you to Ruthard Castle.
When reaching deep water, choose:
"So what?"
"Alright, I’ll carry you."
After clearing the castle of enemies, Rosa will ask you several questions. Answer:
"It'll be alright."
"Allies are our most valuable asset."
"Maybe it won't be necessary."
"Kiss Rosa."
This seals the romance and earns Rosa’s love.
Following these steps will allow you to romance Rosa Ruthard without missing any key moments in the game.
