Sliding in Revenge of the Savage Planet is important for things like unlocking the Slide of Death achievement, where you have to knock out three creatures during a single slide. Here's how to perform a slide.

How to Slide

Tap LS twice (your left stick) to start a knee slide. On flat ground, it won’t last long. You’ll slow down quick. That’s why you need to find a slope or hill to keep your slide going longer.

What Counts for the Achievement

You have to kill three creatures in one slide. Just bumping them won’t count—they need to actually die when you slide through them.

Only small, non-aggressive creatures work for this. These are the ones that usually just wander around and don’t attack unless provoked. Some examples:

  • Tiny bug-like creatures

  • Raccoon-looking animals

  • Puffer Foxes and Scorpio Puffers

Big creatures or anything hostile won’t work. You’ll either get blocked or end your slide early.

What to Do

  1. Find a downhill slope

You’ll need the extra speed and distance to reach three creatures in one go.

  2. Look for a group of small enemies

If you only see one or two, shoot near them. That will scare the others and can help gather them closer.

  3. Sprint, then slide

Start running, line up your targets, then double-tap LS to start sliding right through them. Try to aim through the center of the group.

Best Place to Do It

Go to Xephyr, the second planet.

Head north in the Greater Sand Sea area. You’ll find a bait can on the ground, plus a bunch of Puffer Foxes and Scorpio Puffers nearby. The hill there gives you a perfect spot to build up speed and slide into them. Use bait or fire near them if they’re too spread out.

Final Blurb

You don’t need perfect timing, just a slope, some squishy creatures, and a good angle. If they scatter, reset and try again. With a little setup, you’ll get the achievement in no time.
