Into the Underworld Quest Guide and Walkthrough KCD2 | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This quest follows directly after Speak of the Devil. Your goal is to track down John of Liechtenstein, but first, you need to find Goatskin and infiltrate a secret meeting. Expect a lot of talking, some fighting, and a bit of sneaky work.
Step 1: Speak to Katherine
After rescuing the Dry Devil, return to Devil’s Den.
Zizka tells you to visit Katherine at a tavern in Kuttenberg.
She tells you about a man named Goatskin, who might know where Liechtenstein is.
Step 2: Finding Goatskin
The Long Way (More Talking, Less Risk)
Go to Hole in the Wall Tavern (southeast Kuttenberg).
The doorman won’t let you in unless you earn Chenyek’s respect.
Options:
Pay 200 Groschen.
Intimidate Chenyek.
Fight Goliath (a strong fighter in the back).
After winning Chenyek over, he tells you Goatskin was beaten up and stopped coming to the tavern.
Head to the City Bathhouse and talk to Madam Beata.
She says Goatskin targets rich Germans.
She suggests you talk to Udo, a drunk noble, in the evening.
Set a trap:
Persuade Udo to go home early.
Follow him and wait for Goatskin to rob him.
The Short Way (Skip the Talking, Go Directly)
After speaking to Chenyek, skip the tavern drama and head straight to:
The backyard of the Tailor’s shop.
Look for a beat-up fence and hop over it.
Enter the barn, go upstairs, cross over, and exit.
Jump over the wagon and enter the doorway—you’ll find Goatskin inside.
Bribe or threaten him to make him talk.
Step 3: Meeting Samuel
Goatskin tells you to find Samuel in the Jewish Quarter of Kuttenberg.
When you find him, he agrees to help—but only if you infiltrate an antisemitic meeting.
Step 4: Infiltrating the Meeting & Finding Liechtenstein
Follow the quest marker and arrive at the location after 21:00.
Ambush! Two men attack you.
Fight them off but don’t kill them.
Samuel arrives and stops the fight.
He takes you to John of Liechtenstein, ending the quest.
Final Tips
Speech helps a lot—higher speech makes it easier to persuade Udo and Chenyek.
If you don’t want to waste Groschen, take the fighting route instead.
Time matters—the meeting only happens after 21:00, so plan ahead.
