For years, fans have hoped to see Abyss, the masked monster of destruction, finally step into the WWE 2K series. Well, it’s happening. Abyss is officially coming to WWE 2K25 as part of the Dunk & Destruction Pack, releasing on June 25, 2025.

Yes, the same Abyss who terrorized rings with thumbtacks, barbed wire, and whatever else he could get his hands on. The TNA/Impact Wrestling legend is making his way to the game alongside Great Khali and three NBA stars (because nothing says wrestling like a surprise dunk contest).

How to Get Abyss in WWE 2K25

To play as Abyss, you’ll need to get the Dunk & Destruction Pack, which is part of the WWE 2K25 Season Pass. This is included in:

  • The Bloodline Edition

  • Deadman Edition

  • Available separately for purchase

If you have the Standard Edition, you’ll need to buy the Season Pass or the individual DLC pack when it releases.

What Else Is Coming in the DLC?

Abyss isn’t the only big name joining WWE 2K25. Here’s a quick look at the five post-launch character packs:

  • New Wave Pack (May 14, 2025) – Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and a mystery celebrity

  • Dunk & Destruction Pack (June 25, 2025) – Abyss, Great Khali, and three unnamed NBA players

  • Fearless Pack (July 23, 2025) – New Jack, Jordynne Grace, Penta, Bull Nakano, and another mystery celebrity

  • Attitude Era Superstars Pack (September 17, 2025) – D’Lo Brown, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Victoria, and Mark Henry

  • Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack (November 12, 2025) – Jesse Ventura, Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice

Final Blurb

If you’ve been waiting to chokeslam someone straight to hell as Abyss, WWE 2K25 is finally making it possible. Just be ready to grab the Dunk & Destruction Pack in June. Now the only question is—will we get James Mitchell as a manager?
