In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the dice game uses a badge system to control which games you can enter. If you’ve ever tried to play at a higher level and were asked if you had the right badge, here’s what that means.
Playing Without a Badge
If you don’t have a badge, your options are limited. You can only play the lowest tier games, which include Farmers, Miners, and Novices. These games don’t require a badge but come with lower stakes and smaller rewards.
While you can still make some Groschen, you won’t be able to increase your bets or take on stronger opponents. If you want access to better games, you’ll need to win or acquire a badge first.
Playing With a Badge
If you have a badge, you can play at higher-stakes tables. Silver Badges allow you to enter tougher matches like Soldiers, Priests, and Knights. If Gold Badges exist, they likely unlock even bigger bets.
Winning a game with a badge can earn you more money and even win you additional badges from opponents. However, there’s a risk—losing a game could mean losing your badge, forcing you back into the lower-tier games.
Badge or No Badge – What’s the Difference?
Without a badge, you can only play basic, low-reward games. With a badge, you get access to better rewards, tougher opponents, and higher bets. But once you start using badges, you need to win to keep them—losing could send you right back to square one.
If you want to move up in the dice world, hold onto your badges carefully and choose your bets wisely.
