Mage Arena Mausoleum Guide (Steam)
mage arena

The Mausoleum is one of the few PvE-focused areas in Mage Arena and the only place to obtain Excalibur. This weapon can one-shot players in a match, making it one of the most powerful tools in the game.

Preparing for the Mausoleum

The Mausoleum interior is completely dark, so bring a torch or light spell before entering. Torches also activate the golden braziers inside, which help mark your path through the maze-like corridors.

Enemies Found Inside the Mausoleum

The Mausoleum is guarded by skeletons. These enemies can continue attacking even after being partially destroyed, so finish them quickly.

Fire-based spells like Fireball or Fire Wall work best for clearing them.

Finding Excalibur Parts

Excalibur is broken into two parts: the hilt and the blade. Both are embedded in stone inside the Mausoleum and require you to hold the interaction button to retrieve them, leaving you vulnerable.

It is best to clear all nearby enemies before starting the interaction.

Reforging Excalibur

Once both parts are collected, return to your base. Place them on the table near your flag to reforge Excalibur. After reforging, the weapon can be used immediately and will one-shot enemies if you hit them with it.

Final Blurb

The Mausoleum is dangerous but worth the effort for those seeking Excalibur. Bring a light source, use strong area spells, and move quickly to secure the weapon before your enemies do.
