Marketing campaigns are one of the best ways to bring in more guests, increase donations, and boost exhibit Buzz in Two Point Museum. If you want a thriving museum, you’ll need to use the Marketing Room to attract the right crowd.

How to Start a Marketing Campaign

  • Build a Marketing Room

    • Each Marketing Room can run one campaign at a time.

    • More rooms mean more campaigns, but also higher costs.

  • Hire or Train a Marketing Assistant

    • Some Assistants start with the Marketing skill, but most will need training.

    • The higher their skill level, the more effective the campaign.

  • Choose a Campaign Type

    • Guest Campaigns – Attract more visitors or target a specific guest type.

    • Subcategory Campaigns – Boost the Buzz of a group of exhibits.

    • Exhibit Campaigns – Greatly increase the Buzz of one specific exhibit.

  • Set the Budget

    • Basic ($5,000) – Small impact.

    • Standard ($7,500) – Moderate impact.

    • Elaborate ($10,000) – Large impact.

  • Decide if it Auto-Renews

    • If checked, the campaign repeats automatically when it ends (as long as you can afford it).

Best Marketing Strategies

  • Run Campaigns That Play to Your Strengths

    • If you have lots of Space Exhibits, run a Space-themed campaign for extra Buzz.

    • If you have lots of Interactive Displays, target Families since kids love them.

  • Use Guest Campaigns for Attendance

    • If your museum is struggling to bring in visitors, Guest Campaigns boost traffic.

    • Choose campaigns that attract guests who match your exhibits (e.g., Professors for Knowledge-heavy displays).

  • Don't Waste Money on a Basic Museum Campaign

    • If no campaign is running, the Marketing Room runs a free Background Campaign that does the same thing.

  • Upgrade Marketing as Your Museum Grows

    • Once you have multiple Marketing Rooms, you can combine campaigns for maximum effect.

    • Try running a Guest Campaign + Theme Campaign for huge visitor spikes.

Final Tips

✔ Check Your Budget – Marketing is powerful, but running too many campaigns can drain your funds.
✔ Use Exhibits With High Buzz – A campaign works best when your museum already has great attractions.
✔ Keep an Eye on Donations – More visitors don’t always mean more money—make sure guests are happy enough to donate.

With the right marketing plan, your museum will be packed with excited guests—and their wallets!
