Mayano Top Gun is a Long-distance Runner with high Power growth and great race coverage, but she’s tricky to raise in URA without a good support deck in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Most of her URA route forces strong placements in Long races like Tenno Sho (Spring) and Arima Kinen, so a weak start or bad routing can ruin the whole run.

She’s flexible and can run multiple styles, but in URA you need to play it safe and build her around consistency first.

Stat Priorities

Speed

Push to 1100, MAYBE 1200. She has no Speed bonus, so you’ll need to stack Speed cards early to avoid falling behind in Year 2 and 3 G1s.

Stamina

Go for 900+ to avoid burning out in Long races. She has +20% Stamina growth, but it’s not enough without support help.

Power

Easily hits 1000+ with 1–2 Power cards and her natural growth. Helps with final acceleration and race consistency.

Wit

500+ is enough. Needed for skill activation and mood control during bad event RNG.

Guts

350+ helps prevent collapses in Long races. Can be ignored if you’re running recovery skills instead.

Best Support Card Layouts

Beginner Safety Deck

3 Speed, 2 Stamina, 1 Power
This gets you through URA without worrying about burnout or failed races. Stats will be lower, but more stable.

Balanced Deck

2 Speed, 2 Power, 1 Stamina, 1 Friend
Safer long-term option once you know her route. Friend card helps bonding and fixes energy/mood issues.

Advanced Build

2 Speed, 2 Power, 1 Wit or Guts, 1 Friend
High stat cap build, but only works if your support cards are strong. You need good early bond overlap to unlock rainbow drills by Summer Camp.

Training Tips

  • Get bond levels up fast or you’ll miss your stat goals

  • Only Rest when completely red; use Recreation or Friend cards for energy recovery

  • Hit 60,000 fans by February Year 3 to upgrade her unique skill

  • Avoid skipping races unless you’re well over fan thresholds

  • Use Summer Camp turns on Speed and Power training only

Inheritance Notes

  • Use parents that give Long Distance A, Power bonuses, and one recovery skill

  • If you’re going for Mile/Med/Long rotation, consider adding Mile A via inheritance

  • Avoid inheriting Dirt or Short traits unless you're doing a PvP-only build

Race Style Options

She works best as a Runner in URA, but you can also make her a Leader. Chaser and Betweener work too, but they’re less consistent in URA. Focus on what your inherited skills support.

Final Blurb

Mayano Top Gun can clear URA just fine in 2025, but she won’t carry herself. You need Speed cards to get her moving, and you’ll probably run a safety-heavy build at first.

Once you get comfortable, her flexibility lets you adjust for PvP, MANT, or even Dirt builds later.

TL;DR

  • Works best as a Runner in Long-distance URA

  • Use 2–3 Speed cards to make up for her lack of Speed growth

  • Stat goals: Speed 1100+, Stamina 900+, Power 1000+, Wit 500+, Guts 300+

  • Early builds can use 3 Speed, 2 Stamina, 1 Power for safety

  • Try to unlock rainbow drills before Summer Camp

  • Use Recovery, Bond events, and Friend cards to avoid wasting turns on Rest

  • Inherit Long Distance A and one recovery or speed skill

  • Avoid Dirt or Short inheritance unless you're building her for PvP only
