Mewgenics Weather Effects List: All Weather Conditions

Mewgenics Weather Effects List: All Weather Conditions

Weather in Mewgenics changes how battles play out across entire chapters. There are 75 possible weather effects, and each one can shift tiles, spawn enemies, add status effects, or even change core elements like Fire, Water, or Ice. Some weathers start in the house hub and carry into the next chapter, while others trigger from abilities or events.

If a run suddenly feels cursed, it is probably the weather.

Weather can last for one chapter or roll into multiple chapters. It affects all units in battle, including your cats and enemies. Learning what each weather does helps you plan builds, items, and positioning before things get out of hand.

How Weather Works In Mewgenics

Weather is a global modifier. When active, it applies its effect to every battle during that chapter.

Some weathers create Persistent Elements like Water, Fire, or Ice. Others spawn hazards, enemies, or map changes. A few add status effects or stat bonuses right at the start of battle.

Weather can be triggered in 3 main ways:

  • Spawned in the house hub before entering a chapter

  • Caused by certain abilities

  • Triggered by specific events

Now here is the full weather list with what each one does.

  • Avoid corpse based builds during The Hollowing

  • Use ranged builds during Low Gravity

  • Prepare for revive loops in Restless Dead

  • Stack Luck during Firefly Swarm or Butterfly Swarm

Always check the current weather before planning your route. It affects tile control, status spread, and enemy density.

Final Blurb

Weather in Mewgenics can quietly shape an entire chapter or completely flip a run upside down. Some effects are minor, others turn the map into a burning tornado full of aliens and zombies. Knowing the weather ahead of time lets you adjust builds, positioning, and expectations. Sometimes you win because you played smart. Sometimes you win because Clear Skies showed up and behaved.
