First-Person Mode (Default)
This is what most players use. It’s the default, and it’s what 90% of matches are played in.
Clean aiming
More immersive
Easier to find matches
If you queue into a match without changing any settings, you’re going to end up in first-person every time.
Third-Person Mode (Yes, It Exists)
There is a third-person mode, but it’s not easy to get into.
You can toggle your match search to Third Person Only in the main menu
But because almost everyone plays first-person, you’ll wait forever for a match
If you select both FP and TP (which is default), the game will always prioritize FP
So technically, it’s there. Realistically, it’s a bit more empty.
Why It’s Hard to Use Right Now
Third-person mode just doesn’t have enough players. Lobbies don’t fill up, and you’ll be stuck staring at the loading screen while everyone else is already grappling around in FP. If more players switch over or the devs do a mode-specific event, it might get some life—but right now, it's more of a feature in hiding.
Final Blurb
Yes, Mini Royale has third-person, but you can’t toggle between first and third person—rather you pick a mode and stick with it. First-person is the main way to play, and for now, third-person is more like a bonus mode that nobody hangs out in. Maybe someday it'll catch on. Until then, it’s all goggles and iron sights.
