OSRS Grid Master Colosseum Guide

OSRS Grid Master Colosseum Guide

The Colosseum fight in Grid Master feels brutal at first, but most players overthink it. Once you unlock the right relics and prep with the correct setup, it becomes one of the easiest late-game tasks on the grid.

How to Unlock the Colosseum

The Colosseum tile unlocks later in the combat section of Grid Master. You’ll want at least tier 4 combat mastery before entering. Clear the Araxxor tile first so you can get the Sunlight Bracers, which double your healing and make this entire fight almost unloseable.

Setting Up for the Fight

Go in with your strongest ranged or melee loadout. The Twisted Bow and Khopesh both carry here. A Blood Fury or Dagonhai combo helps you stay alive even longer. Sharks and brews will handle all healing thanks to your relics.

You can combo eat sharks and karambwans in the same tick. With Sunlight Bracers, that’s about 70+ HP instantly. Keep Last Stand ready before every wave and spam heals when things look sketchy. The goal is survival, not speed.

Beating the Waves

The waves are tougher than Sol. Take your time. After finishing one, wait about three minutes to let Last Stand reset. Always start each wave by deleting the Manticore or anything high damage first.

Use pillars for cover and to split enemies up. Keep protection prayers active and never panic when hit. The relic buffs give you more defense and damage than most realize.

Sol Fight Breakdown

Sol looks deadly, but you can face-tank him once you know what to expect. Pray range, stay near a pillar, and dump your damage during Last Stand. Avoid the beams and ignore everything else. T-Bow, Khopesh, or Drygore Blowpipe all destroy him fast.

If your HP drops, just eat. Sharks, brews, karambwans... you’ll out-heal almost everything. Some players even beat Sol by just standing still with auto-retaliate on. As long as you’re spamming food, you’ll win.

Helpful Tips Before You Try

  • Wait between waves for Last Stand cooldown.

  • Blood Barrage helps heal while clearing mobs behind walls.

  • Kill rangers first in Fremennik waves to keep movement space open.

  • Avoid Doom or Mantimayhem until you’re confident with flicking.

  • Once you reach tier 6 combat mastery, accuracy stops mattering completely.

Final Blurb

The Colosseum feels impossible until you realize how strong Grid Master relics really are. Between Sunlight Bracers, Last Stand, and infinite supplies, Sol becomes a punching bag. Once you clear it, you’ll unlock Specialist and push your damage through the roof. Everything after feels like victory laps.

FAQ

How do you make the Colosseum easier

Clear Araxxor first for the Sunlight Bracers. Use them with sharks or brews for massive healing.

Is Sol harder than the waves

No. The waves punish mistakes way more than Sol. He’s mostly free damage once you’re prepared.

What setup works best

Twisted Bow or Khopesh both melt the fight. Add Blood Barrage for safety and crowd control.

Can you reset between waves

Yes. Wait a few minutes to fully recharge Last Stand before starting the next wave.
