OSRS Grid Master Slayer Helm Imbue Guide (Soul Wars Method)

OSRS Grid Master Slayer Helm Imbue Guide (Soul Wars Method)
Old School RuneScape (OSRS)

Imbuing the Slayer Helmet in Grid Master still works, but it’s not as simple as in normal OSRS. Nightmare Zone is disabled, so the only option is Soul Wars. Once it’s upgraded, the Slayer Helm (i) becomes one of the best all-round combat items in the event.

How to Imbue the Slayer Helm in Grid Master

You can’t use Nightmare Zone in Grid Master, so you’ll need to play Soul Wars. Head to the Soul Wars island through the portal in Edgeville or Ferox Enclave and join a match.

OSRS Grid Master Soul Wars World

As of this writing, World 666 usually has active games, but sometimes you’ll need to wait a few minutes between rounds. If that world doesn’t work, try 418. If you’re on at a quiet time, organize a private match with friends or other players in the east pen and take turns winning to farm Zeal points.

Spend your Zeal points on the Slayer Helmet imbue reward. Once done, your helm permanently becomes a Slayer Helm (i) for the rest of the event.

Slayer Master Relic Interaction

The Slayer Master relic makes most bosses count as “on task,” meaning the Slayer Helmet’s damage and accuracy bonuses apply almost everywhere. You still need to wear the helmet to get the buff, but you don’t have to be assigned a specific monster.

Without the helmet equipped, you don’t get the full 15 percent bonus. The relic just removes the need to manually pick Slayer tasks. So if you’re bossing in Grid Master, always wear your imbued Slayer Helm to get the proper boost.

Why the Imbued Version Is Worth It

The imbued Slayer Helm gives stronger damage and accuracy bonuses across all combat styles, not just melee. It also stacks with Combatant and Golden God relic effects for huge DPS spikes on bosses like KQ and Branda.

With the Slayer Master relic active, this combo works almost anywhere, giving constant “on task” power and free extra damage at all times.

Extra Tips for Soul Wars

  • Join World 666 for active matches

  • If it’s empty, set up a private rotation with a small group

  • Each match gives enough Zeal for steady imbues after a few wins

  • You only need to do it once per account

Final Blurb

The Slayer Helm imbue is still worth getting in Grid Master. Soul Wars might be slower than Nightmare Zone, but the damage boost lasts for the entire event. Combined with the Slayer Master relic, it turns almost every fight into an on-task encounter with max damage potential.
